Learn to make stained glass panels and sun catchers. Classes include everything you will need to learn to create your own piece of artwork to keep.
Classes are for serious students who want to learn the art of stained glass. You will learn about the history of stained glass, types of glass, various ways to create, find and use patterns, how to care for and use the proper tools, copper foiling, soldering, lead came, educational resources and so much more. Train with the tools of the art and learned tricks from seasoned artist. Hands-on instruction on basic and advanced skills. By the end of the class, you will have a good, basic understanding to start confidently working on your own stained glass projects.
Classes are a 5-WEEK SERIES format.

a. Cost is $250.00. Includes everything you will need to take the classes. $50.00 due upon registration (non-refundable) and $50.00 due at the beginning of each class, except the last class.
b. It is advised that you bring a snack. (Coffee, tea and water available.) Bring a pad and pencil for notes. Masks, safety glasses, and latex gloves are the choice of the student; not required.
c. Required safety protection: Leather gloves are required while sorting through glass. They are available for use, or bring your own. Appropriate footwear is required - no sandals or open-toe shoes.

Students who complete a Glass Dance Studio course are welcome to attend Open Studio. Open Studio allows you to work together with other seasoned artists on your projects, as part of your continued stained glass education. Also, opportunities for special events/guest teachers at discounted rates for Glass Dance Studio students.
Open Studio cost is $25.00 per day for Glass Dance Studio students only.
Materials will be an additional cost when warranted.

Glass Dance Studio will host various teachers and glass media such as advanced stained glass arts, lead came work, fusing, hot melt, jewelry, etc. as part of on-going education. Pricing, dates and times will be posted in advance on this site, via this site's blog and in the studio.
